Work/Aviation training

A regulation library designed to show its sources and review status.

For Sofema Aviation I built a Course Finder and a Training ROI Calculator, both publicly accessible on its site. The Knowledge Hub is in beta testing, bringing together plain-English regulation pages, source links and a review interface.

Client
Sofema Aviation, aviation regulatory training
Built
Course Finder, Training ROI Calculator, Knowledge Hub with a review screen
Status
Two tools live. Knowledge Hub in beta testing.
In the beta
Search, subject browsing, source links and a review interface. Screenshots show the version captured on 5 October 2026.

Seven screens.

Captured on 5 October 2026. Select any screen to see it full size.

How the Knowledge Hub works.

  1. 1

    Find.

A reader types a clause such as 145.A.30(e), an abbreviation such as IAW, or a plain question. They can also browse by subject, by role or by task.

The Sofema Knowledge Hub home page: a search box with example searches, and four subjects to browse.
  2. 2

    Read.

The answer opens beside the results. It is written in plain English, lists its sources, and shows the date its content last changed.

A Knowledge Hub answer titled What is Part-CAMO, open in a panel beside the search results.
  3. 3

    Check.

In the review screen, a statement from the hub page sits beside the text of the EU regulation. The words that differ are highlighted. The reviewer answers one question: do both statements mean the same thing?

The review screen: a statement from the hub page on the left, the EU regulation text on the right, differing words highlighted, and two buttons: Yes, same meaning, and No, something's different.
  4. 4

    Show.

The beta includes a dated Verified badge and the standard it refers to. The badge illustrates how a recorded review can be shown; completed review records establish which checks have passed.

A Knowledge Hub page with a Verified badge. Its note reads: Verified by Sofema Aviation. Checked against the Sofema Aviation Verification Standard and EU law as at 7 August 2026.

How the pages are made.

The Knowledge Hub combines AI-assisted drafting from consolidated EU regulations with a review screen where a person compares a statement with its source. A completed review record establishes which checks have passed.

Two dates appear on a page, and they mean different things. The content date shows when the text last changed. The badge is designed to record the reference date of the law used for a review.

Two tools, live now.

Both sit on the client’s own site. Try the Course Finder or the Training ROI Calculator.

The Course Finder on the Sofema site, at step 1 of 4: What best describes your role?
Live Course Finder Four questions narrow the course range by role and goal.
The Training ROI Calculator on the Sofema site, at step 1 of 3: How many people does your organisation train each year?
Live Training ROI Calculator Three questions estimate what classroom training costs a team.

Delivery, beta status and outcomes.

Live tools
Course Finder and Training ROI Calculator, built and live on the client’s site.
Features
The Knowledge Hub brings together search, source links, a review screen and a dated badge.
Outcomes
Adoption, booking gains, time savings and realised return have not been measured.
Beta status
The Knowledge Hub is in beta testing. These screenshots show the version captured on 5 October 2026.
Review scope
The displayed badge illustrates the review workflow. A completed review record establishes which checks passed. Regulation guidance needs appropriate specialist review; the badge alone does not establish legal correctness.

Have a course range or a body of rules that people struggle to find their way through?

Tell me about it in a sentence or two. I reply within one working day, and I will not chase.
