One group-booking route I could not find.

Single-course buyers can book. Group buyers appear to reach a generic contact route.

You may already handle this operationally. I just could not find the public route a group buyer would use before contacting you.

First page I would test

Create /group-bookings/ or /employers/.

A single page could give agencies, yacht managers and employers one place to request a quote, ask about invoice billing, choose relevant course families, share preferred dates, and reach a named training contact.

Smallest visible fix: add the missing public route. Nothing else on the site has to change first.

Today vs. with one new page

Today vs. with one new group-booking page Today a group buyer appears to move from public pages to site search or contact form and then to a generic inbox. With one group-booking page, the same buyer reaches a route that asks for quote, invoice, named contact and course routes. TODAY WITH ONE PAGE Group buyer agency · employer · training manager site search / contact form generic inbox ROUTE MISSING Group buyer agency · employer · training manager /group-bookings/ or /employers/ quote · invoice · named contact course routes · preferred dates ROUTE CLEAR

The buyer does not need more information. They need the right route.

The page I would test first

A thinking sketch, not a finished mock-up. The real page would be written and styled by [provider].

Done when

  • A group buyer can choose a course family.
  • They can state number of people or seats.
  • They can ask about invoice billing.
  • They can pick preferred dates and location.
  • The team receives a clearer enquiry than a generic message.

Why this page is the first fix

90-second memo

Individual course buyers are already served by category pages and course-detail pages — STCW Basic Safety, for example, shows price, duration, dates, Book Now and Pay Online. The missing route is for people booking more than one place, asking for invoice billing, or coordinating training for a crew, company or agency. One page closes that public-path gap; nothing else on the site has to change. Direct public-page evidence

New superyacht starter Affordable first step into yacht crew Homepage → Superyacht category → Fast-Track block not visibly listed as a product page Friction List the Fast-Track product page

Offshore wind / GWO buyer Find the right GWO module Older GWO landing → GWO category → module Friction Correct or redirect older GWO landing page

Secondary source-proof items

  • Create or list the Fast-Track product page: text appears in homepage source; it is not visibly reachable as a course product in the public route checked.
  • Correct or redirect the older /gwo-courses/ landing page: reviewed copy still references STCW wording on a GWO page.
  • Review [location A] location copy: reviewed public pages contained [location A] wording alongside [location C] address material.
  • Move the strongest specific proof points (graduate-employment figure and industry award provenance) closer to the homepage superyacht offer.
  • Investigate the broken hero media / missing image asset observed in the browser session.
Why this route may matter commercially — optional context

Important: what follows is illustrative only, using [provider]’s publicly listed prices. It is not a demand estimate, a revenue forecast, or a claim about actual enquiries.

For example, six seats of the publicly listed Fast-Track package would be 6 × £835 = £5,010. The point is not the arithmetic — it is that a multi-seat enquiry can be materially different in shape from a single booking, which is why the public route for that buyer matters.

Simulated buyer-route scenarios constructed from public pages on [provider-domain] walked on 2 May 2026. No analytics, CRM, learner, booking or enquiry data was used. The five routes are imagined scenarios, not real visitors. Every claim about the website is verifiable from a public URL or a recorded site search. Where a block appears in HTML source but not in rendered body text, the claim is qualified accordingly.

Evidence — lead route: crew agency / group buyer

Site-search probes: searches for group booking, invoice, and quote returned no results. Corporate training returned one result, the Privacy Policy. Employer, agency and training manager surfaced blog, course or policy pages rather than a dedicated employer, agency, or training-manager route.

Contact form structure: the public Contact page form shows fields for name, email and message, plus a recaptcha and one custom field. I could not see visible company, number-of-seats, preferred-dates, invoice, course-family, or multi-seat fields.

Implication: a training manager or agency booking multiple seats appears to have no visible dedicated public route before using a generic contact route.

Claim refs: C08–C15
Evidence — new superyacht starter

Fast-Track package copy was reviewed in homepage source/session. The Superyacht course category reviewed did not list the Fast-Track package as a visible product page. Site search for fast track did not return a dedicated Fast-Track product page.

Claim refs: C01–C05
Evidence — returning STCW refresher

The STCW Basic Safety detail page reviewed showed the course title, price, duration, locations/dates and book/pay actions. That is why the individual STCW route is marked Works.

Claim refs: C16–C17
Evidence — offshore wind / GWO buyer

The current GWO category page reviewed lists GWO entries. The older /gwo-courses/ landing page was reviewed with STCW wording in the heading area. The proposed fix is to correct or redirect the older route.

Claim refs: C18–C19
Evidence — parent / sponsor proof

The Superyacht Interior page reviewed contains stronger proof points, including a specific graduate-employment figure and an industry award provenance. The memo suggests moving the strongest relevant proof closer to the homepage superyacht offer.

Claim ref: C20
Evidence — location copy note

Locations and homepage/session source material reviewed contained [location A] wording alongside [location C] address material. This is not the lead finding, but it is worth a quick content check.
